- 1 chocolate counter with 3 levels (I bought it)
- 4 banana yogurts
- 5-6 bananas
- cherry syrup from compote
- 800 ml fresh
- 1 sachet of gelatin
- 1 sachet of whipping cream
- 3 sachets of vanilla sugar
- pieces of chocolate for decoration
Preparation time: less than 60 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Chocolate cake with bananas and whipped cream:
Soften the gelatin. Mix the yogurt with 2 sachets of vanilla sugar. Dissolve the gelatin, mix with the yogurt and refrigerate to harden.
Peel the bananas and cut them into slices. Syrup the top slices with cherry syrup one by one and place the banana slices next to each other on the first level.
Beat 400 ml of whipped cream with the mixer, then mix with the yogurt and fill the countertop slices with this cream. Put the cake in the fridge for approx. 3 hours.
Beat the rest of the whipped cream with the hardener and the remaining vanilla sugar and coat the cake with it. Sprinkle the chocolate pieces and possibly garnish with banana slices.

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Spread baking paper in a 24 cm tray (with detachable walls preferably). Round bottom and paper side strip.
2. 1/2 of the milk chocolate scrape it, the rest grind conveniently with a knife.
3. With the mixer, mix the butter with the sugar, then with the whole eggs and the milk (2-3 min).
4. Add the flour and baking powder, mix in step 1. So that the flour does not fly from the centrifuge, mix a little with the mixer off and gradually add the flour.
5. Pass the banana (with the mashed potatoes is enough) and all the chocolate, grated and chopped, and together with the milk mix with a spoon. Add to the countertop composition.
6. Bake at 180 degrees, it took me 40 minutes, but check after 30, then I reduced the fire to 130 degrees for the last 10 minutes.
7. Allow the countertop to cool to room temperature for about 1 hour.
8. Cut into 3 discs.
Melt the white chocolate in a bain marie (thick bowl placed on a small saucepan with water gently boiling on the fire, so that the bottom of the bowl is not submerged in water).
Leave it for 5 minutes, then glaze with chocolate (white) the stopped fruit for decoration. Take them out on a sheet of baking paper.
The rest of the remaining white chocolate is mixed with mascarpone and sour cream.

Keep the cake cold for at least an hour, if the cream does not keep well. That was not the case with me.

I've never made it before, I admit, that's why I started thinking that whoever originally called the Banoffee pie using this successful combination wasn't wrong, and my original Banoffee cake recipe with bananas and caramel was completed with a consistent top of walnuts syruped with coffee and a cream that was intended to be extremely delicate by combining mascarpone with whipped cream and caramel, not nearly as sweet and heavy as you would expect.
I recommend you prepare it on any occasion, but especially to share it with friends who will not hesitate to praise and truly appreciate this delicious recipe with an unparalleled taste and flavor.
For the countertop:

For the cream:
- 150 brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons water
- 450 ml. whipped cream
- 3 yolks
- 150 butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 250 gr. mascarpone
- 3 tablespoons vanilla flavored powdered sugar
- 150 gr. sugar
- 3 tablespoons water
- 250 ml. whipped cream
- 150 gr. butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 300 ml whipped cream
- 1 banana
- Optional & # 8211 chocolate candies with hazelnuts, caramels…
1 Preheat the oven to 170 ° C and prepare two 26 cm round trays. which is lined with butter and baking paper.

The yolks separate from the whites. In a bowl, mix the yolks with the sugar, oil and water.
Beat the egg whites with a little salt until they become foam. The foam obtained is added to the yolk composition.

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees C. Bake the pan for 20 minutes.

Place the first top, lightly syrup then spread half of the chocolate cream. Place the second top, syrup and spread evenly a third of the cream.
Syrup, coat the top of the cake with whipped cream and then with the help of a pos in which you alternate the two creams (a spoonful of chocolate cream, one of whipped cream) decorate the cake.

I set the oven to 180 C with ventilation (heat up + down) and the middle to high stage for gas.
I prepared the 28 cm form with removable walls that I greased well with soft butter (not melted!) And I covered it with coconut flakes.
Weighed the egg whites and put them in the bowl of the food processor together with a pinch of salt. I beat them well until I got a thick foam. I added sugar and vanilla and continued beating for another 5-6 minutes. The foam must be glossy, dense. I stopped mixing. I added coconut flakes and flour (all at once) to the bowl. I mixed everything carefully using a spatula. We make wide movements from top to bottom and try not to crush the foam. I took the form out of the oven and immediately turned the hot countertop on a kitchen grill. It will cool slowly and ventilate. If it stays in shape, condensation will form which will moisten the countertop and it will become rubberized.
After complete cooling, I cut the top into two sheets. It is baked evenly and in the middle.

I cut the bananas into larger pieces (500 g without peel). I recommend stronger bananas, not fried ones.
I put the brown caramelized sugar together with the butter in a pan, I added the bananas and I kept them for about 7-8 minutes on high heat, mixing them with a spatula. They should not be overcooked because they are porridge.
I pulled the pan aside and let the bananas cool. Then I put them in the fridge so that they are completely cold.
